Milly Top is a women's top worked from the back down: stitches are cast on for the back and worked flat with short rows for the sloped shoulders, down to the underarms.
Stitches are picked up at each shoulder for the front parts, stitches are cast on between the two parts, and work continues to the underarms, where the back joins the front and continues to the full length.
The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, switching to a larger needle at the end for extra width at the edge. It is finished with a collar.
