These include Sandnes Garn from Norway — known for classics such as Double Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair — Majo Garn with its merino and tweed collection, and Cardiff Cashmere from Italy, maker of exceptional pure cashmere. We choose only brands that uphold high standards of fibre quality and environmental responsibility.
Which yarns do you recommend for beginners?
For beginners we recommend medium-weight merino wool yarns, such as Double Sunday or PetiteKnit Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn. These yarns are easy to work with, forgive small mistakes and give a beautiful result. Merino wool is ideal for first knitting projects because it glides well on the needles and comes in varied colours that inspire creativity.
What is the difference between mohair, merino and cashmere?
Each natural fibre has unique properties. Merino wool is fine, elastic and excellent at regulating temperature — perfect for sweaters and cardigans worn all year round. Mohair comes from the Angora goat and creates a delicate halo, being extremely light and warm for its weight — ideal combined with other yarns. Yes, we deliver knitting yarns and accessories across Romania. Orders are processed within 1–2 working days and reach you by fast courier. Every order is packed with care so the yarns arrive in perfect condition. Orders above a certain threshold ship free.

How do I properly care for a project knitted from natural yarns?
Natural yarns need gentle care to keep their qualities. We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water with a wool-specific detergent, without wringing or twisting the fabric. Dry flat on a towel, in the shade. Avoid the tumble dryer and direct ironing. With proper care, pieces knitted from merino, cashmere or alpaca keep their beauty and softness for years.
