Cardiff Cashmere

Cardiff Cashmere is a family business founded in the 1980s in the Biella textile district of Italy — the same region that spins for Loro Piana and other luxury houses. Their philosophy is simple: exclusive specialisation in cashmere, without compromise. Fibres are sourced from the highlands of Inner Mongolia, from selected farms where animal welfare is guaranteed, and processed entirely in Italy with traditional techniques and modern technology.

At Nara Knits you’ll find two Cardiff yarns: Classic Cashmere (100% pure cashmere, for warm, durable knits) and Cardiff Prime (68% cashmere with 32% silk, for an exceptionally fine, lustrous yarn).
