Sandnes 2502 Nr. 5 - Harper Vest (individual pattern)

Harper Vest belongs to the same family as Harper Cardigan — the same European-shoulder construction, worked from the top down in double yarn, Ballerina Chunky Mohair and Kos.

You cast on at the base of the neck with increases shaping the shoulder, and the back is worked to the underarms. The fronts are picked up at the shoulders and worked from the chart, with increases for the V-neck.

Once the fronts are joined to the back, the work is finished in ribbing. Finally, stitches are picked up along each armhole for the bands, and along the front edges and neck for the front band.

Recommended yarn: White 1012 or Deep Burgundy 4372, in Ballerina Chunky Mohair and Kos by Sandnes Garn.
