Sammy Sweater is a classic raglan sweater worked from the top down in double yarn — Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair.
You start with the yoke, worked back and forth with short rows and raglan increases, which gives a deeper front neckline. Once the neck is shaped, work continues in the round, still with raglan increases.
When all increases are done, the work is divided for sleeves, back and front, and each part is finished separately. The neckband is knitted last.
