Aria Sweater is worked from the top down in double yarn — one strand of Alpakka Følgetråd and one of Tynn Silk Mohair.
You start with the back, worked back and forth with short rows and increases shaping the European shoulder. Stitches are cast on for the fronts, worked in stockinette with increases for the neckline, then picked up on front and back for the sleeve cap.
After the increases for sleeves, front and back, the work is joined and continues in the round until the sleeves are divided off. The front bands and collar are worked last.
Recommended yarn: Mint Green 7911 or Dark Grey Melange 1053, in Alpakka Følgetråd and Tynn Silk Mohair by Sandnes Garn.
