Marius Herregenser is the men's Marius sweater, worked in Tynn Peer Gynt with the traditional chart pattern and a classic fit.
It can be worked in either direction — from the top down or from the bottom up. In the bottom-up version you start with the back, worked back and forth with the chart pattern to below the sleeves, then pick up stitches for the shoulders and work each front piece, casting on new stitches for the neckline.
After joining below the sleeves, the body is worked in the round in stockinette and finished in ribbing. The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.
Recommended yarn: Navy 5575 with pattern in White 1002 and Red 4219, in Tynn Peer Gynt by Sandnes Garn.
